~ An organization to support social, educational, civic and philanthropic endeavors within Amador County ~

~~LETTERS~~

Dear Ladies,

Thank you for your very generous donation to the Amador STARS Cancer Van Transportation Program.

We greatly appreciate your support of this very important program. The cancer Vans transport local cancer patients to Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Stockton, and Lodi for chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Without our services, many patients would not be able to receive treatment or would be under considerable hardship to do so.

Again, thank you for your contribution.

Sincerely,
C. F.
Amador STARS Office Manager

Dear Sutter Creek Womans Club,

Thank you so much for putting your time and effort into our school and kids. You help with our futures more than you know.

K.B.

Dear Sutter Creek Womans Club,

Thank you so much for the generous scholarship that was awarded on May 22, 2008, to three of our graduating seniors. The students and staff at Amador High School sincerely appreciate this communityŐs commitment to the education of our children.

The scholarship program in Amador County is envied by many due to the overwhelming support of organizations like yours for our students to continue their education.

On behalf of parents, students and staff at Amador High School, I extend another heartfelt thanks and look forward to working with you again next year.

Please share this letter of appreciation with whomever you feel needs recognition for making a difference in a young personŐs life.

Thanks so much.

Sincerely,
M. J.
Scholarship Coordinator

Dear Sutter Creek Womans Club,

On behalf of the Interfaith Council of Amador I wish to thank you and your organization for your generous donation to the Interfaith Food Bank. Your gift is so much needed and appreciated.

The Interfaith Council is a non-profit organization and your gift is deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are 100% supported by the community we serve, receiving no federal or state funds to support our financial needs. This allows us to continue to serve the underemployed and seniors who donŐt always qualify for other types of assistance.

68% of our clients work, 18% are retired seniors, and 12% are disabled.

Your choice to help your neighbors in need allows us to provide the nutrient dense foods that are so critical to the people we serve.

Our numbers are up 35% since October 2007; providing emergency assistance to over 1,000 families each month. Your gift brings them closer to self sufficiency.

Thank you for making a difference in the life of someone in need. Quite frankly, we just cannot do it without you.

Sincerely,
K. H.
